He was discharged March 1, 1919 after having been in uniform for two years and nine months, one year and ten mos. of which was spent overseas.
He has returned to Preston.

He died of gunshot wounds after serving two years, one of which was spent overseas. Died April 29, 1917.
His widow is in England. Mrs. Alice McConnell, 42 Warwick Terr., Warrick Rd., Batley, England.
Preston was his Canadian home.
