Transcription
Briscoe, Ross Dickenson Lieutenant. Enlisted early in the war with 29th Highland Light Infantry Battalion and transferred to 101st Fusiliers of Edmonton. He was accidentally killed at Salisbury Plains in January 1915. His father is Mr. R. A. Briscoe, the dry goods merchant of Galt.

Brown, Frank R. Corporal. Enlisted November 1916 with 118th Battalion and transferred to 1st Canadian Battalion. Methodist. Born at Aurora, Ill, U.S.A. May 23, 1897 and educated at Kitchener Public Schools and Collegiate Institute. Unmarried. He died October 1, 1918 following wounds received Sept. 27 at Cambrai, France. He was promoted on the field from the ranks to Corporal. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.J. Brown, live at 44 Irvin St. Kitchener. Douglas Bellinger, 19 Shanley St., Kitchener.

Soldier Information Cards - World War One
Transcription
Brubacher, Albert Private. Enlisted at Kitchener with 118th Battalion on April 5, 1916. He went to England in January 1917 going to the 25th Reserve Battalion. In February 1918 he transferred to 4th Reserve Battalion. He went to France in March 1918 and joined the 49th Battalion of Edmonton. He was with this Battalion until his return to Canada in 1919 (March). He took part in the Battles of Amiens, Arras, Cambrai and Mons. He was never wounded but he spent a short time in hospital suffering with influenza. His home is in Elmira, Ontario.
