He was discharged March 28, 1919 and lives at 11 Chapman Street, Galt, Ontario.
He was overseas two years and seven months and was never wounded.

His widow is in England. Mrs. Alice McConnell, 42 Warwick Terr., Warrick Rd., Batley, England.
Preston was his Canadian home.

Born at Hespeler, September 27, 1882 and educated at Hespeler Public School.
Went overseas in September 1916, instructed in Musketry and Bayonet fighting in England until April 27, 1917.
Reverted to ranks to get to France.
Won his stripes back on the field.
Was wounded once but rejoined his unit the same day and served with his unit till the end of the war.
Crossed the Rhine December 14, 1918 and returned to England March 28, 1919.
He has not yet returned to Canada.
His next of kin is Thomas McMaster, Box 69, Hespeler, Ontario.
