Enlisted February 1917 with 256th Railway Construction Battalion. Transferred to 10th Battalion.
Congregationalist.
Born Sept. 29, 1883 in West Montrose and educated at the Public Schools there, at the Kitchener Collegiate Institute and at the University of Toronto.
He was discharged May 8, 1919 and is now living at West Montrose.
His father is Mr. C.D. Bowman of West Montrose.
He served in France nearly two years.

Briscoe, Ross Dickenson
Lieutenant.
Enlisted early in the war with 29th Highland Light Infantry Battalion and transferred to 101st Fusiliers of Edmonton.
He was accidentally killed at Salisbury Plains in January 1915.
His father is Mr. R. A. Briscoe, the dry goods merchant of Galt.
