Barnes, George Corporal. Enlisted in August 1914 with 11th Battalion and transferred to 4th Battalion. Lutheran. Born February 13, 1894 ; educated at Central School, Galt and at Galt Collegiate Institute. He was killed in action May 23, 1915 at Festubert. Mr. and Mrs. R. Barnes 18 Ball Avenue, Galt, are his parents. Hazel Dykeman, 10 Ball Ave. Galt.

Trussler, Alexander D. Lance Corporal. Enlisted February 12, 1916 with the 11th Field Co. C.E.F. to 11th Battalion Sapper. Presbyterian Born April 11, 1885 in Wellesley Township near Wellesley; Educated at Wellesley School. Married to Emma Barrett and has one son. His wife now lives at Lambton Blk, 97th Street, Edmonton, Alberta. He served 29 months 3 days in active service during which time he was gassed and hurt in the knee. He is now in the hospital at Epsom, Surrey, England with heart trouble. Ralph J.G. Reiner. Wellesley, Ontario

Whiting, Thornley Private. Enlisted November 15, 1916 with Bugle Band of 110th Battalion and transferred to 8th Reserve. Protestant. Born March 13, 1894 in Michial and educated there. He has been discharged and is now living on Guelph Street, Preston, Ontario. His mother lives in Michial. He was in uniform for three years. Spent one year and six months overseas. Never wounded. Louise Brooks, Wellington Street, Preston, Ontario.
