Died of wounds at 4th Clearing Station, France September 24, 1917.

Frederick Albert Barnett was born on March 4, 1894.
According to the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, he was the son of Mary Ann Barnett of London, England. However, his soldier card lists his parents as Mr. and Mrs. J. Barnett of Galt.
He died in battle on September 26, 1917, at age 23. Barnett is buried in Barlin Communal Cemetery Extension, Barlin, France.

Born March 4, in West Ham, Essex, England and educated there.
Single.
He was wounded in August of 1917 in the arm and hands and again on September 21, when he was also gassed.
He died on September 26 in Borlin, France.
Mr. and Mrs. J. Barnett, 17 Close Ave, Galt, are his parents.
