McClumpha, William Wallace Private. Enlisted November 15, 1915 with 111th South Waterloo Battalion and transferred to 52nd Battalion. Presbyterian. Born August 29, 1886 in Greenock, Renfrewshire, Scotland; educated at Gourock, Scotland. He married Elizabeth Powell and has two children. He was discharged March 28, 1919 and lives at 11 Chapman Street, Galt, Ontario. He was overseas two years and seven months and was never wounded. Sylvia E. Proctor. 17 Chapman Street, Galt.

He died of gunshot wounds after serving two years, one of which was spent overseas. Died April 29, 1917. His widow is in England. Mrs. Alice McConnell, 42 Warwick Terr., Warrick Rd., Batley, England. Transcription
McMaster, James Michael Sergeant. Enlisted December 14, 1915 with 111th South Waterloo Battalion and transferred to 1st Canadian Battalion. Roman Catholic. Born at Hespeler, September 27, 1882 and educated at Hespeler Public School. Went overseas in September 1916, instructed in Musketry and Bayonet fighting in England until April 27, 1917. Reverted to ranks to get to France. Won his stripes back on the field. Was wounded once but rejoined his unit the same day and served with his unit till the end of the war. Crossed the Rhine December 14, 1918 and returned to England March 28, 1919. He has not yet returned to Canada. His next of kin is Thomas McMaster, Box 69, Hespeler, Ontario. Margaret Brewster, Hespeler, Ontario.
