Lieutenant William Ralph Bricker was born June 8th, 1894 in Waterloo, Ontario to Simon B. Bricker, a merchant and Sibella Nichol.
He enlisted Feb 19, 1916. He was an accountant/book keeper at the time, of Presbyterian faith his father was his next of kin. His father's address is only given as King Street, Waterloo. He was 5 feet, 10 1/2 inches tall, with a dark complexion, brownish grey eyes, and brown hair speckled with grey. It seems that he first enlisted with the 108th regiment, then moved to the 118th Battalion on August 21, 1916.
He passed away March 24, 1948 and is buried in Mount Hope Cemetery, Waterloo.

Bricker, William.
He attended the Kitchener Collegiate Institute from 1907 to 1909.
William Connolly was born on October 1, 1895, in London. His family immigrated to Canada in 1906. He was a telephone lineman by trade and had no prior military service.
His mother, Elizabeth Connolly, was listed as his next of kin on his enlistment paper. She lived in Burlington, Ontario. Mr. Connolly was a member of the Church of England and was single.
William enlisted to be part of the war effort on Feburary 23, 1916 in Dundas, Ontario. His regimental number is 784309 and he was part of the army in the Canadian Infantry. When he enlisted he was part of the 60th Battalion. Over the course of the war he was switched to the 123rd Battalion, and ended his service with the 129th Battalion.
William survived the war and returned to Canada on March 17, 1927. He left from Southampton, England aboard the Melita and landed in St. John's, New Brunswick.

Was connected with 108th Battalion and became attached to 118th Battalion as Major on February 7, 1916.
He came to Kitchener from Stratford where he had been educated and joined the law firm of Millar, Sims and Gregory.
He went to England with 118th Battalion but did not see active service. Shortly after his return to Canada he moved his family back to Stratford and opened a law office there.
