Hinds, Herbert Private. Enlisted December 24, 1915 with the 118th Battalion. He transferred to the Canadian Army Medical Corps in February 1916. He went overseas March 27, 1917. Methodist. Born in England March 6, 1891 and educated there. He came to Canada in June 1913. He served at Passchendaele, Amiens, Arras, Canal du Nord and Cambrai. Never wounded. Discharged May 17, 1919 and now lives in Kitchener.

Educated in Ireland. Graduated from the K.&.W.Hospital, Kitchener, 1913. She is still on service. Her mother, Mrs. S. Potter, lives at 219 Frederick St. Kitchener. She was with the British at the Dardanelles and with the Canadian army in France and England. Evelyn Smithson, 128 Lancaster St. E., Kitchener.

Served 4 years in 2nd East Surrey Regiment. Came to Canada 13 years ago and settled in Kitchener six years ago as a florist. He married Amy Ruth Warren and has five children. He was discharged June 24, 1918 and is living at 177 Strange Street, Kitchener. Served overseas as a medical sergeant and corporal and was sent back to Canada as medically unfit. Seifred, Alfred Andrew Private. Enlisted June 29, 1915 with Canadian Army Medical Corps. Roman Catholic. Born in Weisenburg December 3, 1894 and educated at the Public School there. He now lives at 15 Robinson Ave., Guelph, Ontario. His Mother, Mrs. A. Seifred, lives at West Montrose, R.R. No.1. He served for four months in Canada prior to going overseas, four months in England, twenty-two months in France from March 6, 1916 to January 11, 1918 with No. 1 General Hospital. He was invalided back to England on January 11, 1918. He returned to Canada June 4, 1918 and was discharged September 9, 1918. Priscilla Seifred R.R.1 West Montrose.

Swartz, Percy W. Lance-Corporal. Enlisted November 21, 1917 with the Royal Flying Corps. He was later attached to Western Ontario Regiment and to the Canadian Army Medical Corps. United Brethern. Born January 20, 1896 at Williamsburg, Ontario and educated at Kitchener Collegiate Institute. He is now in the Hamilton Military Hospital serving with the Canadian Army Medical Corps. His service has all been in Canada. His mother is Mrs. S.B. Swartz, 47 Eby St., Kitchener, Ontario. Myrtle Israel, 123 Peter St., Kitchener.
