Alexander, Clem [clipping] Aug. 16, 1940 Clem Alexander [image] Lance-Cpl. Clem Alexander was assigned to D company after enlisting on June 19th. He was born in Dundee, in Scotland, Oct. 6th, 1911. Educated in Scotland and in Galt. L.-Cpl. Alexander was a textile worker before his enlistment. He has had five years military training with the H.L.I. of C. His wife and three children are living at 21 Pollock Avenue, Galt. Lance-Cpl. Alexander had six near relatives in the last war, a grandfather, father and four uncles serving with the Royal Scots. He is Protestant in faith.

Allen, Glen A. [clipping] 10 Aug 1940 GLEN A. ALLEN [image] Private Glen Adrian Allen was assigned to D Company of the H.L.I. of C. after enlisting on July 20th of this year. He was born in Thedford on May 22, 1904. He attended school in St. Thomas and worked as a worsted spinner prior to his enlistment. His wife, Mrs. Ruby Allen now lives in Preston. Two uncles, Billie Allen and Roy Barnes served in the Great War. Pte. Allen's religion is Anglican.

ARTHUR BARRADELL [clipping] Aug 29, 1940 [image] Private Arthur Barradell was born in Leicestershire, Eng., Dec. 3, 1915. He attended Dickson School in Galt, and was employed here as a truck driver, prior to his enlistment June 23 with the H. L .I. of C. He is now attached to H.Q. company . His wife, Mrs. A. Barradell and their one daughter are living at 166 Shade street, Galt. Pte. Barradell’s father and nine uncles served in the Great War. He attends the Baptist church.
