Transcription
Bowman, Edgar Sergeant. Enlisted April 15, 1918 with Base Company 1st Depot Battalion, 1st Central Ontario Regiment, Exhibition Camp, Toronto. Transferred to Canadian Army Corps. Nov. 1918. United Brethren. Born April 19, 1890 two miles south of Winterbourne on homestead in Woolwich Township. Educated at Euler Business College. Single. He was discharged March 28, 1919 and now lives at Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario. He was not overseas and served by doing clerical work, taking in recruits, making out discharge papers, etc.

Bowman, Edgar Lieutenant. Enlisted February 1917 with 256th Railway Construction Battalion. Transferred to 10th Battalion. Congregationalist. Born Sept. 29, 1883 in West Montrose and educated at the Public Schools there, at the Kitchener Collegiate Institute and at the University of Toronto. He was discharged May 8, 1919 and is now living at West Montrose. His father is Mr. C.D. Bowman of West Montrose. He served in France nearly two years. Ruth Bowman, West Montrose, Ont.
