ELORA, April 5.-- Word has been received here by Mr. Mrs. Jack Aitchison that their son, Flt. Lieut. Edward Aitchison, is missing following an air operation over enemy territory on March 31.
A fighter plane pilot, he was on leave last year following a tour of operations in the eastern theatre of war. He has been on active service for more than three years.

Twenty-one-year-old FO. Lorne Aljoe has been missing since March 24 following action over enemy territory, according to a telegram to his parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Aljoe, 14 Mitchell Ave. An R.C.A.F. pilot, he has been overseas since November 1943.
Enlisting at Hamilton on March 30, 1942, he took his air crew training at stations in Quebec and Moncton, N.B., where he was winged and commissioned. Since his transfer overseas he has been stationed in Scotland and England.
Born and educated in Kitchener, he attended Calvary Evangelical Church and was employed at the Remington-Rand Typewriter Co. He was also a member of the K-W Canoe Club and Viginti Hi-Y Club.

HARRY ALLEN
AC2 Harry Charles Allen whose wife and daughter live at 6 Chisholm Street and who is a son of Mr. and Mrs. George Allen, 118 Wellington Street, is serving with the R.C.A.F. He enlisted last March. Born in Galt, Oct. 3, 1917, he went to Central school and the Collegiate and before enlisting he was a supervisor for Mammy's Bread. Four uncles served in the First Great War. He is a member of St. John's Anglican church at Preston.

Jack T. Allen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Allan, 32 McNaughton street and husband of Mrs. J.T. Allen, 168 Grand Ave. S. has been with the R.C.A.F. since Aug. 1940. He is now stationed at St. Thomas. He holds the rank of Aircraftman, 2nd class. Jack Allen was born in Wellington county but came to Galt as a boy, receiving his schooling at Central school and the Collegiate. He was with the Galt Roofing Co. as a tinsmith before enlisting. An uncle served in the 111th during the first Great War. He is a member of Wesley United Church.
