Soldier Information Cards - World War One
Transcription
Stubbs, John Rawson Private. Enlisted March 18, 1916 with the 111th South Waterloo Battalion. He transferred to the 75th Battalion. Church of England. Born November 11, 1876 in Hawich, Scotland, educated in the English School there. He is married to Agnes Simpson and has three children. He was killed in action at Lens on August 15, 1917. His widow lives at Glenmorris St., Galt, Ontario. Peggy Stubbs, 96 Glenmoris St., Galt, Ontario.
