Cairns, Vernon C Private. Enlisted January 17, 1918 and served till February 3, 1919, with 1st Depot Battalion W.O.R. Church of the New Jerusalem. Born in Kitchener Nov. 4, 1896 and educated in Kitchener. Unmarried. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Cairns, 68 Ellen St., E., Kitchener. All of his service has been in Canada. Kathleen Uttley, 20 Ellen St. E., Kitchener.

Cuthbertson, Hugh William Private. He was attached to 108th Regiment and enlisted with 118th Battalion at Kitchener, February 1, 1916. He was discharged in April 1919 and has returned to his home at 131B Courtland Avenue, Kitchener. His mother is Mrs. William Cairnes, Ellen Street, Kitchener. Church of the New Jerusalem. He served 25 months overseas and 22 mos. in France. He crossed the Rhine December 15 1918. W.S.B. Class A. Kathleen Uttley, Kitchener

Soldier Information Cards - World War One
Transcription
Hamblin, Gordon Signaller. Enlisted with 67th Battery at Guelph in March 1918 and transferred to 5th Heavy Battery in England. He was born in England and came to Canada at the age of twelve. He received his collegiate education in the Winnipeg Collegiate Institute. For a year before enlisting he has been living in Kitchener with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hamblin, and was with his father who is Secretary Treasurer of the Metcalfe Candy Company. He is now serving in the Paymaster's Branch. Returned to Kitchener, November 5, 1919. Kathleen Uttley, Ellen Street East, Kitchener.
