Bassil, Frederick Sapper. Enlisted April 17, 1916 as a pioneer with 118th Battalion and later transferred to Engineers. Church of England. Born at Watford, England and educated at Watford and at London England. He is married to Catherine Jones and has two children. He is still with the B.E.F in France as an Engineer. Kuehner, Walter Lance Corporal. Enlisted September 7, 1915 with the 90th Rifles of Winnipeg. Transferred to 1st Battalion. Evangelical Association. Born August 18, 1898 at Kitchener, Ontario and educated there. He was discharged January 28, 1919 after serving three years and four months overseas. He is living with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. Kuehner, at 67 Irvin Street, Kitchener. He was wounded at Vimy Ridge, April 11, 1917. Ruby Willis, 75 Weber Street E., Kitchener.

Willis, James Private. Enlisted May 13, 1916 with the 118th Battalion Infantry. He transferred later to 1st Canadian Battalion. Presbyterian. Born January 10, 1876 on the second Concession of Howic and educated at Fordwich. He was married to Mary A. Bell and has four children. He was killed December 6, 1917 at Passchendaele by an explosion of small shell. His widow, Mrs. Mary Willis, lives at 34 Simeon St., Kitchener. Ruby Willis, 34 Simeon St., Kitchener.
