Arnold, Pte. Louis
(clipping) 12 July 1944
Pte. Arnold, in a letter received by his family Monday, believes he may be out of the war, as a result of arthritis contracted presumably by sleeping outdoors in the dampness somewhere in Normandy.
Known in Kitchener as an ardent golfer, Pte. Arnold has trained as a sniper.
The 34-year-old sniper enlisted in May of last year, and has been overseas about six months. He was an employee of Arnold Bros. before joining up.
