Two brothers serving together in the ranks of the H.L.I. and C. are Ronald Charles Foot and Albert William Foot, sons
of Mr. and Mrs. W. Foot, 60 Rose Street, Galt. Donald is with C Company and Albert is with D Company. They enlisted
in June within a few days of each other. Albert, the elder of the two, was born in England and Ronald was born in Galt.
They both went to Victoria School and G.C.I. Before going on active service Albert was working as a machinist and
Ronald as a shoeworker in Galt. Their father and ten uncles saw active service during the last war. Their religion is
Anglican.

Pte. Frank Karkoski, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ignatius Karkoski, Preston, enlisted June 15, 1940, for active service with the H.L.I. of C. He was born in Preston and received his schooling there. Before enlisting he was working as a press hand. Pte. Karkoski is attached to C. Company. His religion is Roman Catholic.
