Frederick Christian Luft is in the back row, sixth from the right hand side.
Fred Christian Luft, born 17 February 1897 in Berlin, Ont., was the son of Julius and Susanna (Hopp) Luft. Fred attended Kitchener Collegiate Institute from 1910 to 1912. He enlisted on 17 April 1916 with the 118th Battalion. He married Emma Hiller in 1921. Fred died in 1966.
This photograph is part of the "Waterloo County Soldier Portraits" group.

This house was located at 43 Benton St., Kitchener. It was torn down and replaced by the Pentecostal Tabernacle, which was dedicated September, 11, 1927.
Ernest Denton was a photographer in Berlin/Kitchener from approximately 1912-1955. He operated photography studios at various locations in the city.
This postcard is in good condition; bottom left hand corner is creased.

Scope and Content
Black and white postcard, with a faint greenish tint, showing the Victoria Park bridge. Handwritten on the postcard is the year 1906. There is a man standing on the bridge and a man, rowing a small boat, is beneath the centre span of the bridge.
This postcard is in poor condition. The postcard was glued onto black scrapbook paper which has adhered to the reverse side (therefore, publication information is unavailable). There is scotch tape across the four corners. Also, there is masking tape across the top edge.
