Bayley, Clifford Photo included Newspaper article Clifford Bayley Galt April, 1943 Gunner Clifford Geo. Bayley is overseas with an anti-aircraft battery. His wife resides in Galt on Barrie St. and he is a son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Bayley, Augusta St. Gunner Bayley was born in Owen Sound, July 7, 1913 and he attended public school and the Collegiate he was a shipper at the C. Turnbull Co. Three uncles served in the First Great War. His religious denomination is Anglican. Gunner Bayley played Industrial and Church League softball and he also played hockey in Galt.

Bayley, John E [clipping] 19, Sept, 1944 [image] Petty Oficer John Edgar Bayley. whose wife and son reside at R.R. 6 Galt, and who is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bayley, 43 Augusta Street, has been with the R.C.N.V.R. since last March. He is stationed at Halifax, N.S. Born at Owen Sound, December, 1915 he attended public school in Owen Sound and Collegiate at Galt. He was working at Babcox-Wilcox and Goldie-McCulloch when he joined the navy. His religious denomination is Anglican. Three uncles served in the last war.

Cameron, Kells McEwan. 2nd Air Mechanic. Enlisted May 1, 1917 with the Royal Air Force and transferred to 85th Canadian Training Squadron. Baptist. Born in Stouffville, February 21, 1897. He took his public school training at Paris, Owen Sound, and Windsor. His Collegiate training was taken at the Windsor Collegiate Institute. He was discharged January 16, 1919 and now lives at 436 Pennsylvania Ave., Detroit, Mich. His parents are Rev. and Mrs. P.C. Cameron, Heins Ave., Kitchener, Ontario. He served in Texas from November 1917 to April 1918. Bruce Cameron, 17 Heins Ave., Kitchener.

Cameron, Peter Donald Ambulance Orderly. Enlisted April 1917 with Royal Air Force, Mechanical Branch. He was attached to 86th Canadian Training Squadron and transferred to 93rd Squadron later to No. 2 Aerial Gunnery Squadron and finally to Royal Air Force Hospital staff, Beamsville. Baptist. He was born at Stouffville March 27, 1899. He took his public school training in Paris, Owen Sound, Windsor passing his entrance examination shortly after coming to reside in Kitchener. He enlisted, however, before finishing his first year in the Collegiate. When the armistice was signed he received his discharge and returned to his studies in the Kitchener and Waterloo Collegiate and Technical Institute. He served in Texas from November 1917 to April 1918. He is the son of Rev. and Mrs. P.C. Cameron, 17 Heins Ave., Kitchener. Bruce Cameron. 17 Heins Ave., Kitchener.

Ferguson, Harry D. [clipping] July 1940 [image] HARRY FERGUSON Acting Sergeant Harry D. Ferguson had been with the H.L.I of C. nine years before it was mobilized. He enlisted for active service June 3. He was born at Owen Sound, Oct. 9, 1915, a son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Ferguson, 242 Water St. N., Galt. He went to school at Victoria public and the G.C.I. Tech. Before enlisting he was working at the Lunenfield plant. His religion is Presbyterian.

Girling, Lorne D. "Danny" (clipping) Overseas Last Fall Pte. Lorne Daniel (Danny) Girling's sister, Miss Isabel Girling, 53 Dunham Ave., has been informed that her brother has been officially reported severely wounded in action. The date and nature of the wounds are not yet available. Born in Owen Sound, the infantryman came to Kitchener with his parents at an early age. Before enlisting several years ago he was employed at Galloway Furniture Company and Anthes-Baetz Furniture Company, working for the later firm at the time of his enlistment. He went overseas last fall (July 14, 1944) with the H.L.I. Two sisters and a brother reside in Thornbury, and a sister and brother live in Owen Sound. (image) 15, Jul 1944 Pte.
