Private Leeds was born at Belfast, Ireland, received his schooling there, and before enlisting he was working for the Doon Twines company. His wife is residing in Doon. A brother served in the last war. His religion is Presbyterian. [image]

Mason, Sidney [clipping] 19 Sep 1940 Galt Daily Reporter [image] Sidney Mason Corporal Sidney Mason enlisted June 3, 1940, with the H.L.I. of C. He is attached to “B” Co’y. Corp. Mason was born at Chester, Eng. He received his schooling in Woodstock. Before going on active service he was engaged in construction work. He had been with the regiment seven months before it was mobilized. His wife and two children live at 240 Water St. N., Galt. During the last war his father, five uncles and six cousins saw active service. He attends the United Church.
