Bailey, Wilbert Rudolph Pay Sergeant. Enlisted with 118th Battalion at Kitchener, November 26, 1915. He is the son of Mrs. Clara Bailey, of Waterloo. He was born in Canada and received his education in Kitchener. Methodist. He transferred from the 118th Battalion to 25th Reserve Battalion to 26th Reserve at Bramshott and to the Young Soldiers' Battalion. He was born in 1893 and married Lilian Dorothy Walker. He went to London on May 22, 1916, moved to Camp Borden July 9, 1916, returned to London November 9, 1916. Then he went to Halifax, N.S. on January 26, 1917. He camped at Bramshott and Rhyl North Wales. He worked on the Canadian Army Pay Corps. He was discharged in London and is living in Preston, Ontario, Box. 106. Bertha Crawley, Preston, Ontario.

Soldier Information Cards - World War One
Transcription
Brubacher, Albert Private. Enlisted at Kitchener with 118th Battalion on April 5, 1916. He went to England in January 1917 going to the 25th Reserve Battalion. In February 1918 he transferred to 4th Reserve Battalion. He went to France in March 1918 and joined the 49th Battalion of Edmonton. He was with this Battalion until his return to Canada in 1919 (March). He took part in the Battles of Amiens, Arras, Cambrai and Mons. He was never wounded but he spent a short time in hospital suffering with influenza. His home is in Elmira, Ontario.

Frier, Edward Corporal. Enlisted in 1915 with 25th Battalion and transferred later to 19th Battalion. Congregationalist. Born in England on April 5, 1895 and educated at Kingston-on-the-Thames in England. He was discharged in January 1918 and is living with Mr. Newbury, R.R.No.2. Kitchener. He wears two stripes one of which indicates that he was wounded in 1916 at St. Eloie.

Transcription
Lantz, Edner Private. Enlisted at Kitchener April 10, 1916 with 118th Battalion. He was born in Canada and his next of kin is Mrs. Charles Lantz, 601 King Street West, Kitchener. He went overseas in January 1917, with the first draft of the 118th Battalion, and attached to the 25th reserve, Branschott Camp, England, transferred to the Forestry Corps, and served with them from July 1917 to the end of the war in northern and southern France. Returned to Canada, March 1918. Discharged at end of March or beginning of April, with approximately three years' service. Honourably discharged as physically unfit, March 21, 1919 and is in receipt of a pension for injury incurred in service. E.C. Lantz, 304 Western Avenue, West Toronto 9.
