Devine, Ernest F. [clipping] 1943 [image] Ernest Devine [clipping] Apr 1943 Ernest Devine Pte. Ernest Franklin Devine is serving with the Canadian Army Medical Corps and has been stationed at Chatham Military Hospital. His wife and son reside in Chatham and he is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Devine, 155 Norfolk Ave., Galt. Born at Westboro, Oct. 25, 1919, he went to Manchester school in Galt and was working as a twister at Stauffer-Dobbie Ltd. when he enlisted in July, 1941. His father served in the First Great War. Pte. Devine's religious denomination is Presbyterian.

Ebrhardt, Edward [clipping] [image] Edw. L. Ehrhardt [clipping] Preston 1943 EDWARD EHRHARDT Pte. Edward L. Ehrhardt, husband of Mrs. William Ehrhardt, 207 Hexam Street, Preston, enlisted in May and is now overseas with an R.C.A.M.C. general hospital unit. Born at R.R. No. 3, Galt, on July 27, 1921, Pte. Ehrhardt attended Clearview school S.S. 19 and before enlisting he was engaged as a loom fixer at George Pattinson Co. mill in Preston. He is a member of St. Peter's Lutheran church and he was on active member of the Luther League of Hespeler. He played hockey and baseball.
