Notes
Lieutenant William Ralph Bricker was born June 8th, 1894 in Waterloo, Ontario to Simon B. Bricker, a merchant and Sibella Nichol. He enlisted Feb 19, 1916. He was an accountant/book keeper at the time, of Presbyterian faith his father was his next of kin. His father's address is only given as King Street, Waterloo. He was 5 feet, 10 1/2 inches tall, with a dark complexion, brownish grey eyes, and brown hair speckled with grey. It seems that he first enlisted with the 108th regiment, then moved to the 118th Battalion on August 21, 1916. He passed away March 24, 1948 and is buried in Mount Hope Cemetery, Waterloo.

Edward Blake Devitt was born 5 October 1892 at Waterloo, Ontario to Annie Weber and Alvah E. Devitt. From 1906-1910 Blake attended Kitchener Collegiate Institute in Waterloo. In 1917 Blake, who was a merchant, emigrated to Cleveland, Ohio, U.S.A. He declared his intentions on October 2nd 1917 entering the National Army at Cleveland, Ohio while a R.O.T.C. candidate at Fort Benjamin, Harrison, Pennsylvania. He was single, residing at 781 Parkwood, Cleveland. He served with Company G 331 Infantry and was discharged as Sergeant on 5 Nov 1917 to accept a commission of 2nd Lieutenant Infantry on 1 June 1918. His brother Frank Reginald Devitt also served in WW1 with the Canadian Over-Seas Expeditionary Force. On 18 May 1918, Blake of Camp Lee, Virginia, U.S.A. married Helen Josephine Haskell. Their union would produce one son. From 1930 to 1940 he was residing at Cleveland Heights, Cuyahoga, Ohio, and was the proprietor of a dry goods store. On 26 Apr 1942, while self-employed at W.H. Baetz Co., Cleveland, he completed his draft card for WWII at Cuyahoga, Ohio. Edward Blake Devitt died on 4 Nov 1985 and is buried at Rushville City Cemetery, Rushville, Illinois, U.S.A.

Feick, Ralph Private. He enlisted at sixteen years of age but was taken out because he was too young, Later he enlisted in the Royal Flying Corps but did not get overseas. He was educated at the Public Schools of Kitchener and at the Kitchener Collegiate Institute.

Green, Malcolm Fitzgerald Private. Enlisted with 111th Battalion of South Waterloo February 1916 and went to England in September of the same year. He was returned to Canada in December 1917 partly because he was under age and partly because he met with an accident in England which disabled him for service in France. In August 1918 he enlisted with the Siberian Expeditionary Force and is still in service. Presbyterian. Born in Tavistock, April 17, 1900, the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Wheeler Green, Kitchener, Ontario. He was a student in the Collegiate Institute of Kitchener when he enlisted.
