Black and white glossy exterior photograph of the Seibert House as it appeared at its Madison Ave., Kitchener, location in 1964. The view is of the front of the house. A veranda can be seen spanning half the front and part of the side of the building. It is a two-story frame structure with a gambrel roof. Two large, leafy trees are are seen on the either side of the house.
Due to an expansion of Charles St. in Kitchener, this building was moved to Doon Heritage Crossroads in 1964. During the move the gambrel roof was damaged and replaced by a gable roof.
Emily Seibert, educator and historian, personally transplanted the perennials from her home's previous Madison Ave. garden.
This photograph is in excellent condition.
