Pte. John Adamos

Pte. John Adamos, who came to Canada with his family in late 1938 from Macedonia, Greece, has been wounded while fighting with the Essex Scottish in Germany.
Born in 1928, he is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Dimitro Adamos. He attended school in Greece and in Kitchener. Prior to joining the Canadian Army he was a waiter at the Queen's Restaurant.
Pte. Adamos, whose emlistment was in July, 1943, went overseas before Christmas, 1944. Embarking from England, he fought in Belgium and Holland, before continuing to Germany.
