Trooper Hugh Adams
Listowel, Nov.1.-- Mrs. Hugh B. Adams was notified by casualty headquarters at Ottawa yesterday that her husband, Trooper Hugh B. Adams, who was wounded in action on Aug. 18 while serving with an armored unit in France, is being invalided home. He sustained injuries to his right arm.
The 37-year-old soldier was born and raised at Norwood, Ont., and , prior to his enlistment, had been employed for a number of years by the Atlas Construction Co. of Montreal.
His wife, whom he married on Aug.9, 1942, at Botwood, Nfld., was formerly Marjorie Felker, of Listowel and Montreal.
