Wm. Adams

William Charles Adams enlisted with the H.L.I. of C. on June 4, 1940. He was born at Preston Feb. 20, 1920 and was a shoeworker before joining up. His father, C.R. Adams, served in the 34th battalion in the last war and two uncles and his grandfather also saw active service. One uncle, Wm. Adams, was killed in action and the other uncle, Geoerge Adams is now in the Home Guard in Windsor. He holds the rank of acting sergeat. His religion is Anglican. He had been with the regiment a year before it went on active service.
