AYR, Nov. 22 -- Flt. Sgt. George Ball, R.C.A.F., son of Mr. and Mrs. W.O. Ball,
Swan St., was slightly wounded directly below the elbow on his last flight over
Germany and is now confined to a hospital in England.
This word came to Mr. and Mrs. Ball by letter this week. Following release
from the hospital, George expects to go on furlough.
Enlisting in May 1941, he received his wings at Crumlin, and went overseas
in August 1943.
