CORP. THOS. ED. BEVAN
Thomas Edward Bevan, a corporal of the H.L.I. of C., enlisted Aug. 26, 1939
and was placed on guard stationed at the Armory. This month he was called to report
to a training depot at Toronto. A son of County Constable Albert Bevan and
Mrs. Bevan, West River road, he was born at Leyton, Eng., Oct. 7, 1906. He
attended Little Corners School. His father served in the last war with the
29th battery. Before enlisting he was employed at Sturtevant's as a shipper.
His religion is Anglican.
