WOUNDED - Pte. Jack Braniff, 27, of Kitchener, was wounded recently while fighting with an infantry unit in Holland.

Pte. Jack. G. Braniff
Mrs. Margaret Braniff, 51 Henry St., has been informed that her son, Pte. Jack G. Braniff, 27, was slightly wounded while fighting in Holland on April 23. He was a member of an infantry unit.
On enlistment in 1941 he was stationed at the former No. 10 Training Centre here as a cook. Later he went to Ipperwash and a camp in Manitoba. Prior to enlistment he was employed at the Brewers' Warehouse.
A brother, Lance-Cpl. Victor Braniff has been overseas for the past four years, while another brother, Dennis, has just been discharged from the army following three years' service. Pte. Braniff's father is not living.
