William brown received a telegram on Monday telling him his son, Sgt. Douglas Brown, who has been serving with the Lincoln and Welland Regiment in France since D-day received a wound in his forearm and a broken arm and is in hospital in England. Mr. Brown previously received a card which contained no details.
