Lieut. Clifton Cassady

Ayr, Nov, 10 - Lieut. Clifton Cassady, Paris, of the British Imperial Army, who was reported missing June 28, is now a prisoner of war in Germany. He is the son of Hunter Cassady on the Town Line, south of Ayr. Roy Cassady, also south of Ayr, is an uncle.
Lieut. Cassady enlisted early in 1940. Four brothers are also in the service, Ernest, of the U.S. Army in Italy; and Robert, Hunter and Bruce with the U.S. Navy. Lieut. Cassady's wife resides in Paris.
