Pte. Ernest Franklin Devine is serving with the Canadian Army Medical Corps and has been stationed at Chatham Military Hospital. His wife and son reside in Chatham and he is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Devine, 155 Norfolk Ave., Galt. Born at Westboro, Oct. 25, 1919, he went to Manchester school in Galt and was working as a twister at Stauffer-Dobbie Ltd. when he enlisted in July, 1941. His father served in the First Great War. Pte. Devine's religious denomination is Presbyterian.
