Private Albert Leslie Hulks, attached to D Company, H.L.I. of C., enlisted on June 19. He was born in Preston, April 2, 1913, and attended Manchester school and the Galt Collegiate. His wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Hulks resides at 84 Samuelson street in Galt. Prior to his enlistment Pte. Hlks was employed as a shoeworker. Two uncles and his father served with the Queen’s Own Rifles, Toronto, in the last war. Pte. Hulks is Anglican by religion.
