Pte Leo Lauber
Pte. Lauber, who worked at the Sunshine-Waterloo plant before enlisting several years ago, is reported wounded and in hospital as a result of action in Belgium on Oct. 16. He had been overseas 1 1/2 years prior to D-day.
Pte. Lauber was in the first 30-day basic training group at the former No. 10 Training Centre here.

Pte. Leo Lauber, 23, son of Mrs. Caroline Lauber, R.R.1, West Montrose, who was wounded in action in Belgium on Oct. 16, is now reported suffering a "severe bomb fragment wound, cervical fracture right forearm' an official wire states.
