Black and white photograph of a horse drawn sleigh in front of the Waterloo County courthouse in winter. A man, dressed in a fur coat and hat, is standing by the horse with his hand on the reins and bridle. Eight men are seated in the sleigh, including William H. Breithaupt, who is seated in the second row from the front in a fur cap. The home of the Governor of the Waterloo County Jaol can be seen in the background, slightly to the left.
The corners of mat are broken and there is a slight crack along lower edge of mat.
