George James Aikin was born 5 Oct 1891 in Galt the son of George Aikin and Nellie Pringle S. Dunn. He was an office clerk in Galt in 1911 and by 1923 was an insurance clerk in Galt. He married Jessie Helen McMurty 6 Jun 1923 in Galt. Both were killed in an automobile accident 17 Feb 1968 as passengers in a car driven by a relative who survived.
