Transferred from 43rd Battery to Canadian School of Gunnery.
Born West Monkton, educated at Milverton Public School and Galt Collegiate Institute.
He was discharged February 6, 1919.
His next of kin is Mrs. James Cockwell of Milverton.
He served 29 months with 43rd Battery as Signals Sergeant.
Awarded Military Medal at Vimy Ridge.
Mentioned in despatches at Amiens and Arras. September 1918.
