He was seriously wounded on June 12, 1917 and buried two days later at Vimy Ridge.
His mother lives in Preston, Ontario.
He enlisted with the 34th Battalion on January 20, 1916. and transferred to 5th Canadian Mounted Rifles. He died on
June 18, 1917 at No, 9 Canadian Field Ambulance from wounds received in action.
His mother is Mrs. Susannah Cooper, Port Dover, Ontario.
