Enlisted in the spring of 1916 with 26th Battalion in the west, transferred to 118th Battalion of North Waterloo, and to Railway Construction Battalion in France.
Methodist.
He saw service for 21 months and took part in the Somme, Nieuport, Ypres, and Lille sectors.
He was never wounded - only scratched.
He spent his early days at Doon, Galt and Kitchener.
His Parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Dahmer, live at 75 Simeon St., Kitchener, Ontario.
