Enlisted May 10, 1916 with Wentworth's Own Infantry Battalion and transferred to 3rd Pioneers.
Presbyterian.
Born in Galt in 1890 and educated at Galt.
Unmarried.
He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Elvin, R.R.No 2, Puslinch, Ontario
He was through all battles after Sept.9, 1917 and was continually in line till the armistice was signed.
He was wounded June 12, 1917 at Farbus Wood.
