Enlisted November 1916 with 118th Battalion and transferred to 1st Canadian Battalion.
Methodist.
Born at Aurora, Ill, U.S.A. May 23, 1897 and educated at Kitchener Public Schools and Collegiate Institute.
Unmarried.
He died October 1, 1918 following wounds received Sept. 27 at Cambrai, France.
He was promoted on the field from the ranks to Corporal.
His parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.J. Brown, live at 44 Irvin St. Kitchener.
