Private.
Enlisted at Kitchener April 10, 1916 with 118th Battalion.
He was born in Canada and his next of kin is Mrs. Charles Lantz, 601 King Street West, Kitchener.
He went overseas in January 1917, with the first draft of the 118th Battalion, and attached to the 25th reserve,
Branschott Camp, England, transferred to the Forestry Corps, and served with them from July 1917 to the end of the war in northern and southern France.
Returned to Canada, March 1918.
Discharged at end of March or beginning of April,
with approximately three years' service.
Honourably discharged as physically unfit, March 21, 1919 and is in receipt of a pension for injury incurred in service.
