Private.
Enlisted January 4, 1916 with 134th Battalion (48th Highlanders) and transferred to 15th Battalion (48th Highlanders).
Presbyterian.
Born September 6, 1880 at Edinborough, Scotland, and educated at Newhall College, Sutton, Coldfield. Married to Miss Alice Gould of Beechville, Ontario on May 18, 1910. No children.
He was discharged May 6, 1918 and is now at the Grand River Country Club.
Was wounded April 9, 1917 when the Canadians took Army Ridge. When going over the top a piece of sharp shell hit his right thigh.
