Lance-Corporal.
Was attached to the Imperial Forces and enlisted with the 111th Battalion at Hespeler, March 4, 1916.
He was born in Scotland and his next of kin is Mrs. H. Sacks, Commercial Hotel, Hespeler, Ontario.
He won a Military Medal for capturing eight cars and engine.
He served one year in the Infantry and two years in the 5th Canadian Railway Troops.
