Enlisted January 1918 with 4th Reserve Infantry Battalion and transferred to 18th Battalion.
Congregationalist.
Born at Bloomingdale and educated at Bridgeport.He went overseas February 16, 1918, arriving in England March 2, 1918.When he went to France, he was wounded by a shell in the abdomen at Valenciennes and died November 11, 1918.Buried in British Soldier Cemetary Row B, Plot 2, Grave 15.
Mrs. Angeline Underwood, Bridgeport, is mother.
