Private.
He enlisted with the 118th Battalion in 1916 and after serving with them at Camp Bordon, he was transferred to a Forestry Battalion and went overseas with them.
He saw much service but was never wounded. He contracted diphtheria in Belgium and was sent to England. He was also a victim of Spanish Influenza.
He was discharged in April 1919.
He is the son of Mr. Peter Veidenheimer 59 Brunswick Avenue, Kitchener.
He has returned to his home.
