Private.
He enlisted with the 118th Battalion at Kitchener, January 3, 1916.
He was born in Canada and is the son of John Voelker, 306 Wellington Street, Kitchener, Ontario.
He was trasferred from the 118th Battalion to the 1st Battalion with which he served in France. He was wounded at Passchendaele November 6 1917. The result of his wound was paralysis and he was confined to the Euclid Hall Hospital, Toronto for three years. He succumbed at the hospital Friday morning December 3rd, 1920. He was aged twenty-four.
