Enlisted April 1915 with 34th Battalion.
Congregationalist.
As a child he lived with his grandparents at London, Ontario but he attended school one winter at West Montrose while he was employed by Mr. Byron Letson of West Montrose.
He married Lizzie Downy and after her death he married in England.
He served three years and has been slightly wounded on one occasion.
He is now with the 2nd Canadian Battalion in Germany.
Walked 15 miles to Guelph to enlist.
He served at Ypres, Vimy Ridge and the Somme.
