Enlisted September 15, 1915 as a pioneer. He was transferred from the 71st Battalion to the 2nd Canadian Battalion Pioneers.
Presbyterian.
Born and educated in Fordwich, Huron. Married to Bertha Smith and has three children.
Discharged May 28, 1918 and lives at 183 Benton St., Kitchener.
He served six months in Belgium and nine months in France. He was wounded in France.
